Our client is a civil engineering and construction contractor operating within South East England. They are looking for a Civils Estimator with S38 and S278 experience to join their team.
You will be based just outside Milton Keynes and will be required to work 1 day a week in Ashford, Kent (travel included within working hours)
As an Estimator you will be responsible for:
- Calculating the price of various projects
- Pricing time, labour and materials
- Putting bids together for civil engineering projects
- Producing accurate BOQ
- Preparing necessary documents
- Carrying site visits
Requirements:
- degree or HNC in construction/Building or equivalent
- previous experience working on civil engineering projects
- good knowledge of NEC3 and JCT contracts
- S38 and S278 experience
- good knowledge of CESSM3, Highways Method of Measurement, SMM7
