An exciting opportunity for a Highways Foreman has come up on a major infrastructure project in Buckinghamshire. The role is working with a well-known contractor and is at least 6 months in duration.
Main Duties
- Direct the work of operatives and sub-contractors
- Ensure environmental systems are implemented satisfactorily
- Contribute to preparation of the programme
- Quality Assurance
- Plan and order materials and plant to achieve programmes
- Keep daily records of work carried out
- Ensure that works proceed in accordance with site programmes
- Ensure all plant on site is suitable for the task and conforms to current legislation
- Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures.
The experience we’re looking for in a candidate
- SMSTS
- Highways experience
- First Aid at Work
- CSCS
- Commercial and contractual awareness
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Be able to work in a strong team environment
- An excellent communicator
