CarmichaelUK are looking for a Foreman to work with one of our key clients on a project delivering 12km of non-motorised user access route between Polgate and Firle (East Sussex). Work is cheduled to carry on for another 18 months. Ideally we will be looking for someone to start on 19th July.
Reporting into the Site Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring highest standards of health & safety are adhered to
- Working with the engineers to ensure work is being carried out to scope
- Task briefings
- Ensuring safe systems of work are in place
- Coordinating site activities
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an HNC or higher in civil engineering or related subject
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Has experience setting out drainage, foundations, surfacing, kerbs
- Has main contractor experience
