CarmichaelUK are looking for a Foreman to work with one of our key clients on the Botley Bypass, a large scheme consisting or road widening, cycle path construction and school access. This work is being carried out with the aim or reducing pollution, noise and traffic in the local area. The first phase of works is well underway and due for completion by the end of this year, which will then allow phase 2 works to kick off form the start of next year, running through until the end of 2022. We are ideally looking for someone to start ASAP.
Reporting into the Site Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring site works are carried out to the highest H&S standards
- Task briefings
- Toolbox talks
- Progress reporting
- Subcontractor management
- Ensuring correct safe systems of work are in place
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Holds a valid SMSTS or SSSTS
- Holds a valid first aid ticket
- Has groundworks / drainage experience
- Has worked on a live traffic project
- Has main contractor experience
