An opportunity exists for a hands on working Foreman with good leadership qualities on industrial type project the south Manchester/Cheshire region. Experience in deep drainage, RC structures, pipelines etc. for a tier one/principal contractor is sought after.
Duties will include –
- Daily toolbox talks and inductions
- Daily and weekly planning
- Resource planning including materials and equipment
- Managing of in-house teams and sub contractors
- Interpretation of the drawings
- Site administration including site diary, timesheets, and plant returns etc.
- Management of the works and solving of technical issues
- Managing health and safety including the reporting thereof
Requirements for Foreman:
- A relevant construction qualification
- Proven ability as a Foreman preferably for a tier one self-delivery contractor
- Experience on industrial type projects like wastewater treatment works, recycling plants, biomass plants, factories etc will be advantageous.
- CSCS, SSSTS or SMSTS, EUSR and First Aid
- Willing to work inside IR35
