Carmichael UK are after a Piling Estimator to look after a piling specialists Northern Projects.
As Estimator you will be winning profitable work, focussing on the Birmingham and M62 Corridor markets. You will also ensure that risks and opportunities are identified during the bid and managed.
Key Roles:

Review tenders with contracts staff to determine the most efficient methods.

Liaise with designers to optimise the engineering solution.

Complete the risk analysis identifying high risks/concerns to senior management. Complete KD risk assessment for all binding bids

Understand and deliver the client’s requirements

Develop long lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business opportunities.

Support the branch in winning work.

Take an active role in maintaining the KD system.

Promote cross and joint selling across company branches

Maintain a risk based approach to tendering and keep KD updated on status of projects

Seek to maximise margins on bids by negotiating with clients and suppliers
About You:
- CSCS Card Holder.
- Proven experience working as a geotechnical specialist.
- A sound technical knowledge of a range of geotechnical products and solutions.
- IT literate, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Full UK driving license
