General Foreman – Heathrow Airport (Night Shift)
Location: Heathrow Airport, West London
Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35)

We are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman to join a major civil engineering project at Heathrow Airport, working with a leading Tier 1 contractor on long-term airside infrastructure works.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the UK's most high-profile infrastructure programmes, delivering complex civil engineering works in a fast-paced airport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate night shift construction activities.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and plant operations.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with ITPs and company procedures.
- Conduct briefings, toolbox talks, and daily shift handovers.
- Liaise with Engineers, Site Managers, and Project Management teams.
- Ensure RAMS are implemented and followed at all times.
- Drive productivity while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a General Foreman on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Background in works such as earthworks, drainage, utilities, pavement construction, reinforced concrete, highways, or airside projects.
- Strong leadership and workforce management skills.
- Good understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- SSSTS or SMSTS preferred.
- Heathrow clearance or previous airport experience is advantageous but not essential.
