Position: General Foreman
Location:Bath
Salary: £45,000 + Package.
Contract Type: Permanent

 

Client Information

Our client, a tier 1 principal main contractor is currently seeking a freelance General Foreman for their exciting £200 million rail project in Cambridgeshire. There may be some nights and weekends involved with the work.

Role

Within this role you would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following;

  • Maintain health, safety and environmental standards and carry out inspections as necessary
  • Manage the section of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and in accordance to budget and quality standards
  • Communicate between all parts of the operation team including client, suppliers, subcontractors, engineering, safety, environmental team
  • Build and develop the team to deliver all aspects of the project requirements; identify training requirements, review the performance of the workforce and ensure delivery of briefings

Skills

  • Experience working on a Network Rail project
  • Vocational Training (successful experience at Foreman level)
  • Possess a valid CSCS Card
  • PTS, SSSTS or equivalent
  • Experience working on a major rail project
