Our client, a tier 1 principal main contractor is currently seeking a freelance General Foreman for their exciting £20 Million Depot build. There may be some nights and weekends involved with the work.
Role
Within this role you would be responsible for, but not limited to, the following;
- Maintain health, safety and environmental standards and carry out inspections as necessary
- Running 10 supervisors on site
- Manage the section of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and in accordance to budget and quality standards
- Communicate between all parts of the operation team including client, suppliers, subcontractors, engineering, safety, environmental team
- Build and develop the team to deliver all aspects of the project requirements; identify training requirements, review the performance of the workforce and ensure delivery of briefings
Skills
- Experience working on a Network Rail project
- Vocational Training (successful experience at Foreman level)
- Possess a valid CSCS Card
- PTS, SSSTS or equivalent
- Experience working on a major rail depot project
