CarmichaelUK are looking for an experienced General Foreman to work on a 278 job in Chelmsford for a tier 2 main contractor. They are working on behalf of a private company, however they also have interface with Essex Highways and Highways England . The job is into the second phase of works and still has 18 months to run. These roles are live and URGENT so interviews will be taking place early next week ahead of a start date of 1st Feb.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing health & safety on site
- Toolbox talks
- Progress reporting
- Producing safe methods of working
- Management of site staff including supervisors
- Works planning
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a valid SMSTS
- Holds a valid CSCS card
- Has previously worked as a General Foreman
- Has previous experience of 278 works
