A freelance opportunity exists for a General Foreman/Senior Foreman capable of managing the work force on a high rise structural steel building project. Previous experience on a similar project is eagerly sought after.
Duties include
- Daily toolbox talks and inductions
- Daily and weekly planning
- Resource planning including materials and equipment
- Managing of in-house teams and sub-contractors
- Interpretation of the drawings
- Site administration including site diary, timesheets, and plant returns etc.
- Management of the works and solving of technical issues
- Managing health and safety including the reporting thereof
Requirements for this post include –
- Must have previous high rise structural steel frame experience
- Be capable of demonstrating excellent site management capabilities
- Must have solid reporting and site administration skills
- CSCS, SSSTS and First Aid
