Carmichael UK are currently recruiting 2x Ground Workers/Dumper Drivers for a 10-week contract in Edinburgh. There is an opportunity to be considered for long-term work depending on performance.
To be considered for this role you must:

- Hold a valid CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper ticket
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a groundworker
- Be able to provide 2x recent references.
- Work 7 days for first 3 weeks of contract.
You will be working with a utilities company, operating the forward tipping dumper, as part of a ground working gang, installing a mains power cable into a large residential development.
You will be onsite as a ground worker and will also operate the dumper when required. Experience operating a road saw would be valuable but not essential.
You will also be required to hand dig around services where needed. Once the cable has been installed you will be responsible for reinstatement of roads/pathways.
Health and Safety must be paramount in your approach as a safe and competent groundworker/dumper driver.
- 10x hours per day Mon-Friday
- Sat & Sun shifts available for the first 3 weeks of the contract paid @ overtime rate x 1.5
- Rate: £19 per hour CIS
