Our client is a World leading Construction and Civil Engineering Company.
They are looking to recruit a Head of Quality Management to work at their Head office in Swindon.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To ensure that the systems in place enable continued certification to appropriate the ISO and British Standards and to ensure the quality assurance requirements of the business are met. Leading the Quality Assurance function within the business and ensuring that sufficient personnel are available to support the operational divisions.
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead site Quality Managers and Engineers to improve the management of quality assurance for the business.
Managing the company BSI certification process for ISO 9001and associated systems
Updating HSQE system procedures when changes are required in relation to legislation or changes to processes (identified both internally or externally)
Lead and manage the internal audit schedule and audit sites and departments to check compliance with the Management System, relevant legislation and standards.
Reviewing changes to Railway Group and Network Rail/LU Company standards, rule book modules etc. and assessing the impact of the changes on our business for discussion at the Assurance Review Group meetings Producing management review reports on QA for discussion by the Management Board.
Input into tenders and pre-qualifications as required Ensuring the company compliance tool database is used on all sites Discussing with Project Managers the Assurance performance on their projects Supporting Technical Leads on projects to enable close out of all documentation Supporting the companies BIM department
REQUIRED PROJECT KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of working on civil engineering projects in the role of quality manager.
