We have an exciting opportunity to work on a Large Major Civil Engineering project for a Tier 1 Contractor leading the £1.9bn project.
The six-year construction programme will start in March on the latest phase of the £1bn LPT2 project which will see 32.5km of tunnel built to house electricity transmission cables 30 metres underground.
The new cables will replace three circuits that currently run under the surface of roads between Wimbledon in the southwest to Crayford in the southeast.
They require a Health, Safety & Well-Being Coordinator join the team for this project on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working on large construction / civils schemes.
Responsibilities as Health, Safety & Well-being Coordinator:

Responsibilities:

  • Promote/ provide administrative support to the Health, Safety and Well-being team
  • Collate Health and Safety statistics in a timely manner and submit to the Health, Safety and Well-being Manager for reporting purposes.
  • Support and provide information to site teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated.
  • Help develop and implement Project Health, Safety and Well-being campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the team.
  • Administration and management of the Health , safety and Well-being incident, accident and investigative forms and paperwork.
  • Well-being referrals, administration of spreadsheet, sending out referral forms, inputting questionnaire data into spreadsheet to produce reports.
  • Training – records administrator, assist with course registration, issuing certificates as required.
  • Review H&S stats to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Assist in the preparation of the project H&S documents including those of 3rd parties
  • Ensure control and storage of H&S and associated documentation
  • Participate in the work of the committees and joint consultations affecting the workforce as required.
  • Record and publish minutes of H&S meetings
  • Perform any other duties that may be required from time to time commensurate with the grade of the post.
