Carmichael are recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to work on a tunneling project in North Wales
- Responsible for supporting the project teams and supply chain on H&S matters and in particular guiding and supporting the construction teams throughout the construction phase from a Health, Safety and Wellbeing perspective with the support of the Projects Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- promoting health, safety and welfare throughout the Project
- Fully supporting the Health and Safety Manager to coordinate between all sectors of the project and report to the H&S Manager upon a daily basis upon current site concerns and areas for improvement
- Ensuring project compliance with statutory legislation and contractual safety requirements.
- Undertake onsite inspection and monitoring of health, safety, and welfare.
- Undertake onsite audits and monitoring of health, safety, and welfare
Relevant Health & Safety qualification as well as NEBOSH is essential
