Highways Supervisor
Location: Slough
Rate: Up to £350pd (Inside IR35)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Carmichael UK are seeking an experienced Highways Supervisor to join a major highways and infrastructure project based in Slough. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile scheme, working with a leading contractor delivering critical highway improvements.
Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day highways construction activities on site.

Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.

Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, plant, and materials.

Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Monitor quality and ensure works are completed to specification.

Maintain site records including diaries, permits, inspections, and progress reports.

Liaise with Site Managers, Engineers, and client representatives.

Support the delivery of traffic management and public-facing highways works.
Requirements
-
Proven experience working as a Highways Supervisor on major infrastructure or highways projects.

Strong understanding of highways construction, utilities, drainage, roadworks, and traffic management.

SSSTS or SMSTS.
-
CSCS Card.
