We have an exciting opportunity for a freelance HERDS Manager to work for a main joint venture on HS2. This role is for at least 6 months and based in Birmingham.
 
Description of Activities to be undertaken
  • Assist with preparation of project plans, scoping documents and desk studies as required and liaise with HS2 and Stakeholders
  • Manage schedule data and liaise with land access and logistics teams
  • Maintain Issue register
  • Maintain Stakeholder engagement register
  • Liaise with the Site Supervisor and Site Engineer to support the subcontractors progress
  • Assist with preparation of presentations and works updates to local community groups in liaison with HERDS sector lead
  • Develop personal career plan goals and agree CPD training and development actions with Lead Archaeologist
  • Assist with JV's and HS2 media programme
  • Develop understanding and experience in all matters relating to Health & Safety, including following safe working procedures at all times
  • Develop understanding of the Jv's vision and values, behaving in ways that are in alignment with Fusion's ways of working
  • Take necessary care to properly protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Corporate information from unauthorised disclosure, modification or destruction. Never knowingly put the JV's information or information systems at risk.
