Carmichael are seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator. This position with be homebased however locality to Brackley would be an advantage.

Day to Day Duties

 • Preparation, co-ordination and dissemination of timesheets

• Organise welfare provisions, first aid kits, extinguishers etc. Estimating

• Assisting with obtaining quotations for materials especially civil engineering materials

• Sourcing subcontractors and provide documentation to finance to maintain supplier database

• Preparation of Prequalification Questionnaires, assist with question responses by either answering or preparing answers to questions for review by bid manager.

 • Prepare and update continually business development literature, brochures, presentations etc.

• Co-ordinating tender documents, formatting etc for tender submission

• Obtain an excellent working knowledge of our skills set to tender projects

• Assisting with tender preparation and document submission

• Tender finding – reviewing information on tendering portals for GFC to tender works.

• Prepare take off of civils works, produce a bill of quantities to be priced. Training

• Collate and maintain the training matrix

• Plan, co-ordinate and manage the training of our employees

 • Organise renewals of qualifications, CPCS, SMSTS, CSCS, SSTS, First Aid etc

• Co-ordinate training plans, appraisals, and present and file Plan, organise and implement training HR

• Prepare contracts for new starters

• Scan and file contracts, employee information

• Obtain and compile employee information, scan and file documents.

• Plan, co-ordinate and manage the training of our employees

The successful candidate will be required to be confident with numbers, sharp with data and able to balance lots of different tasks at the same time. Keeping the project and communication at the heart of what they do will be key, so a completely focused attitude is crucial. You will be required to have strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across our business. You must be responsible, self- motivated, organised and not be afraid to get stuck in.
