Our client is a a civil engineering and building contractor and they are looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis in Derby.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of building projects.
Intermediate Quantity Surveyor will be working closely with Senior QS and Commercial Manager, managing large jobs and willing to travel to sites throughout UK if necessary.
The duties will include subcontract procurement, providing commercial support, preparing valuations and cost reports, contract administration, liaising with clients and contractors.
The candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, good working knowledge of NEC3, JCT and ICC, previous experience on civil engineering projects with good knowledge of building projects.
