An established Utilities contractor based in South-West London are seeking an experienced Intermediate / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.
This business have a strong retention of staff and this position has only become available due an internal move where the current Quantity Surveyor has taken up another position which has left his role available.
With an annual turnover of £100m, they are widely recognised as experts within the Utilities sector with a particular focus on Water.
They work with clients such as Thames Water, Southern Water and Severn Trent, they are looking for people with experience of working with similar clientele.
The scale of projects they work on will range up to £30m which is their largest scheme and is a Joint-venture on a 10-year framework agreement.
Some of your other duties will include:
- Liaising with site operational teams
- Monitoring costs whilst ensuring that budgets are met
- Preparing applications for payments
- Producing cost/value reports
- Reporting into the Commercial Director on progress
Criteria:
- Degree educated in a commercial related field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working for a similar Utilities contractor
- Stable work history
- Able to commute to South-West London
- Salary up to £65,000 & Benefits
