An immediate start freelance/contract opportunity exist for a Junior/Graduate Mech/Elec/Instrumentation Engineer to be involved with the MEICA ( Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation) on a utilities projects in the North West.
Your duties will include -
- Scheduling of work for subcontractors in conjunction with the client
- Assisting the MEICA Engineer with the works requirements
- Recording of the works
- Programming of resources
- Assist the delivery team
- Flagging potential problems
- Implement health and safety
Requirements for this role include -
- Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation or similar Engineering qualification
- Previous experience within the Water and Waste Water environment advantageous but not essential
- Some technical engineering experience would be advantageous
- Commercially and contractually aware and astute
- Good writing and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate
- Willing to work on occasional weekends
This post would suit a newly qualified Engineer who has completed a year's internship or a graduate Engineer who has, at most, one year's engineering experience.
