We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Site Engineer to join a Consulting Engineering firm to work on the HS2 project. This will be a site based role, assisting with preliminary building settlement surveys, working between Euston and West Ruislip. The successful candidate will be required on a freelance or fixed term basis, starting in January.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- On site recording of building structural form (i.e shape, single or multi-storey, basements etc), materials (i.e brick, RC, steel frames, glazed, cladding), likely foundation type (i.e piled, strip or pad foundations).
- Report writing to take formalise site records.
- Recording Conditioning
- Condition surveys for design assessment
- Writing reports on site
Skills Required:
- BSc or BEng level qualification in Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/ HND or the equivalent
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong IT skills
- Newly graduated civil engineer with surveying experience
