My client, a main joint venture on HS2, is seeking a Land Access Coordination or join their team in Birmingham on a freelance basis. This role is for at least 6 months and is likely to be extended.

Description of Activities to be undertaken

  • Support Access and Possession Managers in delivering their roles
  • Assist Land Access Administrators at times of peak administration
  • Manage data and information flow to Agricultural Liaison Officers
  • Manage tasks specific to Work Packages to Agricultural Liaison Officers to undertake effective and accurate engagement
  • Engage with the Work Package Managers (WPM) to provide guidance on Land Access requirements and compliance with WI2000
  • Engage with HS2 L&P suppliers regarding Schedule of Works requirements
  • Attend Work Package meetings to provide WP Managers with Land Access and Land Possession support
  • Data management to enable reports to be provided to Fusion
  • Liaising with landowners to confirm access for surveys in line with WI2000 requirements.
  • Dealing with landowner complaints and issues
  • Liaise with Employers L&P team for access and possession arrangements
  • Attendance and Inputting into FLAB meetings

Minimum Qualifications Needed for Role

  • Educated to degree level, or with a minimum of 3 years experience in landowner engagement and landlord and tenant matters on utility or infrastructure projects
  • Excellent communication, personal planning and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Excel proficient
