Our client is one of the UK’s leading remediation contractors. With an extensive portfolio of completed projects across many sectors including Housebuilding, Commercial Development, Tier 1 Contracting, the Nuclear industry and the Chemical/Pharmaceutical sector.
They are looking for a Land Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.
Location: Predominantly M25 and surrounding area but could be UK wide.
The Role:
The Company is expanding their Engineering Department to help with the delivery of successful projects. They are offering a full time position for an experienced Land Surveyor.
The position will include:
· Undertaking site surveys using GPS (Trimble R10, TSC3, and similar) to create topographical and live as-built information;
· Setting out roadways, piling mats, and other temporary structures;
· Creating and editing technical drawings using LSS, AutoCAD, and other software;
· Checking design drawings and confirming works are to design.
· Undertaking mass balance and volumetric calculations

The position will work directly with Associate Directors and Site Management
The Candidate:
Ideally has a Degree in Civil Engineering or the equivalent plus 2-5 years experience
Has a positive and proactive approach to site based work and enjoys working outdoors
Has a strong set of IT skills - including Microsoft Office;
Has a strong desire to learn new skills;
Is a team player who is able to work under pressured site environments
Has an understanding of health and safety within the construction industry
Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience with land surveying and survey techniques
Is ambitious ,the role can progress to Site Manager and beyond
