I am recruiting for a Land Surveyor to work for a well known surveying company in Bath. This role is for 12 weeks, working on the enabling works package for a large housing development. 
 
The scope of works include:
1. Setting up of primary network control points around the site for subcontractor use (and checking this on a regular basis)
2. To perform an existing topographical survey of the site – to be used for earthwork quantity calculation and subcontractor checking
3. To initially set out the main phasing/bulk digs to piling platform and formation levels, including carriageways, temp access/haul road and tanks
4. To check the existing foul and surface water manholes invert levels across the site and at the canal outfall – to highlight any discrepancies in the proposed engineers drawings
5. Post formation level checks after civils contractor has dug – TO accurately agree and calculate volumes in conjunction with the PM/subbie for record and payment purposes 
6. Checking subcontractors setting out in relation to corners of plots
7. Setting out of piling/Double check of setting out of piling by subcontractor
8. Check of As Built drainage and housing foundations and compilation for issue to client
9. Quotation to include a rate for drawing time/volume calculation in the office
 
The requirements for Surveyor are as follows:
 
•Qualification in Engineering/Land Surveying
•Relevant work experience which demonstrates applied knowledge of land survey procedures 
•Experience in using industry standard survey equipment and processing software
•CSCS 
•Fist Aid
