Our Trades & Labour Division is looking for a skilled and driven Loading Shovel Operator to join the HS2 Project in Berkshire in the Southwest of England
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a Loading Shovel with precision and care.
- Load, stockpile, and distribute materials efficiently and safely.
- Conduct daily safety checks and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Participate in toolbox talks and site briefings.
- Assist other trades on site as needed.
- Supervise assigned team members, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to high standards.
- Report to site management on progress and any potential issues.
Essential Qualifications:
- CPCS - A22 Tracked or A21 Loading Shovel OR NPORS - N209 Loading Shovel
- Experience with loading, stockpiling, and operating Loading Shovels in various site conditions.
- Proven ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPCS (Blue A21) / NPORS
- First aid certificate
- Cat & Genny certificates
- Hard-working, reliable, and detail-oriented
