Our client is a civil engineering and building contractor operating across heavy civils, highways, water and marine sectors with projects up to £100m. They are looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join them on a temp to perm basis.
This role would involve travelling to projects throughout South East England, including Essex, Surrey and up to Midlands covering highways and water frameworks.
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for:
- Contractual administration of high value project subcontractors;
- Sub-contract management, procurement and negotiation;
- Commercial resolution with Clients of scheme outcomes, including payments;
- Managing projects from award through to final accounts;
- Managing a team of quantity surveyors
Requirements:
- Degree in quantity surveying or equivalent
- Previous experience working on civil engineering projects (highways or water)
- Good NEC3 knowledge
