A large well-known Civil Engineering contractor who undertake projects throughout the UK are searching for an experienced M&E Package Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This business are developing a new Railway station and require a strong manager with experience overseeing both Mechanical and Electrical packages.
This project is currently in design stage until March and then begins on site and ideally the M&E Package Manager will join as soon as possible to have input on the design before work finally commences.
You will be tasked with overseeing the subcontractors, answering any technical queries which may arise, liaising with the client and the greater site team regularly to ensure that progress is moving according to plan.
This is a key project to the local area as Birmingham has seen a stark rise in commuters entering by train over the past few decades and this station will help ease commuters experience in and out of the city, the scope of works includes installing wide platforms, 2 pedestrian bridges, retail area, ticket hall, lifts and more.
About you:
- Experience managing Mechanical and Electrical packages
- Experience working with Network Rail
- Degree educated within either a Mechanical or Electrical related course
- Started your career as a Site Engineer
- Have tendering experience
