A large well-known Civil Engineering contractor who undertake projects throughout the UK are searching for an experienced M&E Package Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
This business are developing a new Railway station and require a strong manager with experience overseeing both Mechanical and Electrical packages.
This is an immediate position as you will have input on the final designs before heading to site in the early summer.
You will be tasked with overseeing the subcontractors, answering any technical queries which may arise, liaising with the client and the greater site team regularly to ensure that progress is moving according to plan.
This is a key project as it is the first major station being built in London in over a decade, the work includes demolition of a disused train storage shed, construction of a new station and installation of a new pedestrian footbridge with lifts and escalator access.
About you:
- Experience managing Mechanical and Electrical packages
- Experience working with Network Rail
- Degree educated within either a Mechanical or Electrical related course
- Started your career as a Site Engineer
- Have tendering experience
