A freelance contract exists for an experienced Materials Technician on roads/highway projects in the North West. Extensive experience on insitu and lab testing of soils/aggregates and concrete is sought after.
Duties will include –
- Conducting lab soils/aggregates/concrete testing in accordance to UKAS and technical specifications
- Conducting insitu testing and material sampling
- Recording all results in accordance with QA/QC documentation
- Maintain and calibrate equipment.
Requirement for this post include-
- Previous experience in a similar position for a tier one Contractor
- Solid knowledge of testing procedure and specifications
- HND/HNC/NVQ in civil engineering or similar
- CSCS
