We are currently looking to appoint a M+E Quality Assurance Engineer to provide subject matter expertise to the Project and to ensure Assurance documentation, is produced and accepted by Crossrail. To ensure the continual improvement of project performance in line with external standards and the integrated management systems.
Key objectives:
· Ensure all released documents are produced to programme and are compliant and accurate
· Develop pro-active relationships with all parties and build confidence that QA Mechanical + Electrical requirements are being met
Principal responsibilities and accountabilities:
· Preparation of O&M manuals
· Review of construction records for completeness and accuracy
· Contribute to the preparation of Health and Safety File
· Providing support for handover packages
· Providing support and advice to project staff on assurance issues and controls
· PPM – Planning preventative maintenance
· Support the Quality Manager in the implementation of the Integrated Management System
Qualifications and training
· CSCS required
Technical skills and experience
· Fit out experience essential
· Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or a senior document control position is highly advantageous
· Previous London Underground experience an advantage
· High level of attention to detail with the ability to work to challenging deadlines
· Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
