I’m looking for an Engineer with a good Mechanical understanding. Ideally you are a Mechanical Engineer but a Civil Engineer @ Section Engineer level with good Mechanical understanding will be able to do the role.
The position is based @ Beckton Sewage Treatment Works in Basildon and is part of Thames Tideway Tunnel project. The position is up to 12 months for the right candidate.

Reviewing Health and Safety Documentation (Method Statements & Risk Assessments)
Ensure work on site is being carried out in line with Method Statements & Risk Assessments
Reviewing Inspection and Test Plans
Ensure works on site are being carried out in line with Inspection and Test Plans
Liasing with subcontractors and co-ordinating works
Inspection of Installed Works
Ensuring Works installed line up with Construction Drawings and Specifications.
Surveying areas to produce make ready needs list for commencement of install works
Reviewing Progress against programme
Reviewing Commission Documentation
Reviewing As Built Documentation
Working for lead mechanical engineer
Required Experience:
Ideally hold a Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering
Section Engineer with Mechanical experience
CSCS card
