Carmichael are recruiting an experienced MEP Package Manager for a major tunnel/aviation project in West London.
We are keen to hear from you if you have main contractor experience in Mechanical & Electrical fitout and package management.
This project is expected to last another 1-2 years and you will benefit from market competitive rates whilst working for one of the industry’s leading contractors.
This role falls inside the scope of IR35 and all rates are PAYE.
As a Package Manager for this scope of works, your duties will include:
- Manage delivery of tunnel fit-out packages
- Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments
- Managing the fit-out sub contractors
- Carrying out quality inspections
- Liaison with the client and stake holders
- Planning weekly and monthly programmes
If you would like to apply for the Package Manager position, you will also need to demonstrate the following:
- Have previously worked within construction build / rail / terminal sectors
- Previously worked as a package manager / project manager (preferably with a main contractor)
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of quality assurance, writing method statements and risk assessments
- Hold a construction related degree or HNC
- Hold a valid CSCS Card
