Carmichael are recruiting for a MEP Senior Buyer to join a tier one contractor at AWE - Reading.
As Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in defining key subcontractors.
The ability to obtain security clearance is a necessity.
Duties include -
- Ensure and monitor best value service to the operational teams
- Installing procurement controls and compliance including tender enquiries
- Enhance supply chain relationships to provide a competitive edge and improves the profit line
- Manage and police all documentation processes
- Attend and produce input into tender and contract meetings Adhere and enhance the companies procurement policies
Requirements for this position -
- Experience in the procurement of MEP services/subcontracors
- Experience of working as a Buyer or Senior Buyer within Major projects.
- Academic qualification (NVQ/HND/Degree etc.)
- BIM and MCIPS advantageous
