This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced surveyor with previous rail, construction or tunneling experience to join an established practice to lead their surveying projects across the south east.

You will have at least few years’ experience within the construction sector and ideally have worked on construction/ civils projects within this time. 

For this particular role, your key responsibilities and duties will include:

  • data collection and data processing elements of all projects in the teams’ portfolio and to meet the required Company standards including health and safety.
  • undertaking monitoring programmes on various sites in London which will include total station and leveling operations and setting up and maintaining both monitoring and engineering surveys.
  • liaising with clients to plan and assess monitoring frequencies and coordinate and manage project logistics to ensure that surveys are carried out efficiently and successfully according to specification.
  • Pro-actively take responsibility to learn survey theory and practice, new techniques and about new instruments in order to embark on a career as a professional surveyor.
  • To undertake all other reasonable tasks as requested.

The successful applicant will also need to have the following requirements:

  • Experience in the construction sector
  • Experience processing data using n4ce, LSS or similar
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD Beneficial
  • Must hold a clean Driving License
  • Hold a valid CSCS card
