My client has a requirement for a freelance Nights Sub Agent to work on major highways upgrade in Kent. The £150M scheme will include the construction of new slip roads, widening of existing roads and a new bridge.
This project is expected to run for the next 2 years and this will be long term work for the right candidate.
Responsible for:
- Managing the subcontractors and H&S
- Manage and mentor both direct and contract project staff
- Liaise consistently with the client and stakeholders
- Write method statements, risk assessments and work package plans
- Manage a team of Site and Section Engineers
The ideal candidate will have the following;
- A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
- Experience working for a main contractor
- Highways / major road experience essential
- CSCS qualification
- Knowledge and experience of Highways standards and procedures
