CarmichaelUK are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor on an Airport station build south of London, and we are looking for a Steelwork Package Manager to join the project team ASAP.
The objective of the role is to deliver the key programme milestones through effective management of the design and fabrication of the steelwork and cladding packages. The two packages on the project require close management and coordination to ensure that the project milestones can be met. The role entails taking overall responsibility of these packages from the design through to the delivery onsite.
Key responsibilities include the design, fabrication, delivery, SHE, QA, commercial, risk, and maintaining client/team relationships.
Key qualifications and experience
- Experience of Steelwork and cladding at package manager/project manager level.
- Experience working on large scale building/civils projects with experience managing multiple interfacing packages in rail environment.
- Experience working on Network Rail projects and being familiar with Network Rail standards.
- Experience working on complex projects >£100m
- HNC or higher in and Engineering related filed
- CSCS card
