An excellent long term, inside IR 35, opportunity exists for a Package Manager with multi-disciplinary construction experience working for a Civils tier one Contractor on large infrastructure projects to manage the work packages/systems and to support the Delivery Management Team in the successful delivery of a large project.
Duties will include –

To co-ordinate the delivery of multi-discipline work packages through all phases of the project, i.e. engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities

To assume ‘cradle to grave’ accountability for a work package

Ensure all changes are identified and managed, and configuration control is maintained

To lead the package team to ensure key project milestones are met in accordance with timescale, budget and quality
-
To act as key contact for and manage interfaces with external Subcontractors and the design houses

Manage external contracts in support of package implementation
Requirements for this post include –
-
Experience of managing packages of work on EPC projects or similar
-
Proven track record of successfully working on NEC3 projects
-
Experience in Project / Customer Reporting

Qualification in Project Management preferable

Experience and demonstrated abilities of working as part of a collaborative team, in a multi-discipline environment

Experience in Mechanical and/or EC&I services.

Experience within nuclear sector

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Understanding of planning software such as Primavera P6 an advantage
