Carmichael are recruiting for an experienced Package Manager to join a tier one contractor on a large scale Nuclear project.
Your proven track record of successfully managing packages of work on EPC projects, as well as working with NEC3 contracts, is sought after.
This position falls inside IR35
Duties will include -
- Co-ordinate the delivery of multi-discipline work packages through all phases of the project, i.e. engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
- Assume ‘cradle to grave’ accountability for work packages
- Ensure all changes are identified and managed, and configuration control is maintained,
- Lead the package team to ensure key project milestones are met in accordance with timescale, budget and quality
- Act as key contact for, and manage interfaces with, external Subcontractors
- Manage external contracts in support of package implementation
Requirements for this position -
- Hold a minimum HND or equivalent
- Experience of managing packages of work on EPC projects or similar
- Proven track record of successfully working on NEC3 projects
- Experience in Project / Customer Reporting
- Qualification in Project Management preferable
- Experience and demonstrated abilities of working as part of a collaborative team, in a multi-discipline environment
- Experience in delivery of CS&A / Mech design and installation projects desired
- Experience within nuclear sector
- Experience within either Mechanical / EC&I services
