Our client is delivering the A14 widening project in Cambridgeshire.
They require a Personal Assistant to join their team ASAP. The role will be based on site in Swavesey.
This role will be temp to perm and requires somebody to start on Monday, 25th March.

Main duties:

Provide P.A and admin support to the IDMT (Integrated Delivery Management Team) Project Lead and Senior Management Team.
This involves actively managing the Project Lead’s diary and schedule, and performing a wide of complex and confidential administrative, secretarial, admin and research tasks. 
Duties performed require considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact and mature and independent judgement.

Skills and experience:

The role requires leadership qualities such as adaptability, flexibility, dependability and accountability. Much of the work is self-appointed and requires a high degree of professional independence, initiative and self-discipline. Key skills and qualities needed are:

  • Good interpersonal skills, able to liaise and work closely with colleagues at a senior level on the contractor and client side, maintaining  an extremely high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Discreet and confidential, able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Sets clear and appropriate goals for self and others. Focuses well on project and other targets. Enthusiasm for moving it all forwards. Consistent delivery of quality performance
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Confident and resourceful with sound judgement.
  • Self-starter, able to work on own initiative as may be asked to take on a wide range of tasks.
  • Confident to challenge upwards and downwards when needed.

  • Rational and systematic analysis of situation to enable decisions on more varied issues. Questioning the evidence to evaluate issues.

  • Communicates positively with clarity and understanding. Confident, articulate presentations with structure and control.
