Carmichael are seeking a Project Manager to join a specialist piling company opertating in London.
As a project manager you will be ultimately responsible for a single complex project or multiple smaller projects running concurrently. Initially involved during the work winning and preconstruction phase, ultimately taking the project through to delivery on site. Responsibilities could include:
- Developing the construction methodology and programme, ensuring the appropriate engineering solution and technique
- Geometry, load paths and stability advice
- Informing cost plans and value engineering
- Advising on Temporary works
- Advising on Cranage and lift plans
- Provide the project team with absolute clarity of what’s expected to deliver against the design
- Proactively engage with clients to understand their needs and requirements
- Engage with the wider business, working collaboratively to overcome problems and develop and shape solutions.
About You:
- Excellent track record performing in a similar role for other piling companies
- Expereince of large diameter piles under bentonite or polymer
- Able to input into work winning and pre-contract discussions
- Degree qualified or equivalent
