Our client a civil engineering contractor requires a Planner to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role will be based in the West Midlands around the Oldbury area, covering sites.
You must have come from an Engineering background to be considered for this role.
The work will involve:
- Supporting the Planning Manager
- The role will require the development of the detailed design, procurement and construction programme for the delivery
The Person - Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Experience and an understanding of civil engineering construction methods, outputs and resources
- A track record of planning civil engineering projects
- They use Asta Project software
- Ability to prioritise in order to manage workload effectively
- Experience of working to deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to express themselves openly, honestly and in a lucid way
- To be flexible, adaptable and open to new challenges
- Familiarity with the NEC suite of contracts
