A major Joint Venture based in Southampton is currently recruiting a planner to work long-term on the project. They are expected to be there for at least the next 2-3 years, making this a great opportunity to get on a long-term project with the main contractor. This falls part of the Smart motorway scheme.
The project is obviously mainly a highways project, upgrading existing roads/ bridges and turning the hard shoulder into an extra lane. There will also be elements of Structures along the way which will have specialised teams to take care of them.
The ideal candidate comes with:
- Previous experience using P6.
- Highways project experience
- NEC as a form of contract.
The role:
- Being influential in the structure of the program.
- Updating and maintaining the program
- Client liaising and visiting site.
