Opportunities exist for Planners, ranging from Project Planner to Planner to Planning Managers, on a multidisciplinary civil engineering project in Manchester. Previous experience on large projects for tier one principal Contractors is sought after.
Duties, depending on experience, will include –
- Develop and maintain the master program with the Designers and delivery team
- Prepare project forecast and risks analysis
- Identify and communicate project critical path, risk and early warnings
- Attend site meeting and liaise closely with project delivery team
- Managing project planning, programming, progress monitoring, progress reporting and scheduling
- Lead collaborative meeting to ensure that the project strategy is understood
- Compile and present reports in a simple format to be easily understood
- Manage the changes and impact they create including early warnings through the delivery phase
Requirements for these opportunities include –
- Extensive tier one, principal Contractor experience on large multidisciplinary civil engineering project
- Excellent command of P6
- Ability to create a master program from first principles is desirable
- The ability to collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams
- Excellent communication skills
