We have the pleasure to recruit a planning engineer to join an established team based in the Berkshire region.
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for the Asset Management and Captial Delivery, working with the team to create an investment plan.
You will also need to be able to :
- Gather existing information about projects within the investment plan,
- Develop a planning specification including relevant coding to allow us to “slice and dice” and run various reports,
- Develop a monthly update process.
- Have the confidence to set up and facilitate workshops and produce analytics from the programme.
- Software - Microsoft Project experience is essential
As a Planning Engineer you will be responsible for :
- Adherence to Health & Safety practices
- Assisting the Asset Management and Cap Delivery Director to develop high level gated schedule for each project
- Assisting with the production of weekly lookahead schedules
- Attending meetings with the Project Managers and Production Teams and updating of lookaheads from feedback
- Assisting with highlighting any areas of concern that may impact the schedule
- Assisting with the preparation of any required ad-hoc stand-alone detailed schedules
- Assisting with the interfacing/reporting with management
- Assisting with internal graphical reporting in regards to schedule and progress
- Attendance at relevant development meetings
