Carmichael are seeking an experienced plant supervisor to join a highways project based in North Wales.
- Assist the manager with meeting daily production targets
- Follow SHE policies and procedures
- Ensure Asphalt plant / Quarry always conforms with safety requirements
- Acting on defects and implement remedial action.
- Assist in the maintenance regime of the Plant
- Ensure that plant availability is maximised
- Update daily figures online
- Carry out contractor inductions
- Cover breaks, holidays and sickness
- Managing, training and supporting all departmental supervisors
You will need
- Asphalt plant knowledge
- Previous Supervisor experience
- Have experience of undertaking risk assessments and developing safe working procedures
- NVQ, IOSH, loading shovel, mini digger
