Our client is based in Auckland, New Zealand is looking for a Precast Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team.
This is a key sales role in the Auckland region, providing a link between design, manufacturing, and the customer. The primary focus will be on concrete products, providing engineered solutions (design, costings, tendering) for a range of applications in the business. The core precast applications will be on heavy civil infrastructure projects.
They are looking for an experienced engineer who has a strong background in concrete structures and is looking to move into business development and tendering role.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret tender documents and plans
- Estimating and Tendering of new work
- Liaising with clients on a regular basis for contract and tendering
- Identifying new products for the precast business
- Developing client relationships
- Assist production team as required
Skills and Experience
- 5 years’ experience in civil construction infrastructure projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or extensive experience in the industry
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
