CarmichaelUK are looking for Principal Engineer to work with a civils and build contractor based in Gravesend. I am looking for a Principal or Design Engineer with experience and knowledge of Temporary Works.These projects are based around high end commercial and residential properties with some very interesting civils elements.
The Principal Engineer will be expected to:
- Assist in the design, review, supervision and sign off of temporary works
- Ensure a safe working environment, including traffic management
- Assist and engage with site planning meetings and RAMs
- Engage with and deliver full design briefing for subcontractors
- Analyse the structural integrity of temporary works
We are looking for someone who has knowledge of the following:
- Temporary buildings
- Crane bases
- Falseworks
- Formworks
- Ground support
Requirements for the role:
- HND or Degree in Structural Engineering or related subject
- Valid CSCS card
