Source, identify and evaluate suitable supply chain partners to support the tender/s. Input into tender package strategies. Prepare and distribute tender documentation. Evaluate tender returns.

Key responsibilities:
- Implementation of bid procurement strategy.
- Management of tender activities to achieve best value procurement solution.
- Undertake supply chain research to identify key partners to support our tenders,
- Management of supply chain engagement to develop support for pricing, innovation, green solutions and buy in.
- Drive innovative solutions, MMC and DfMA.
- Utilisation of digital procurement tools.
- Support and maintain collaborative relationships with strategic suppliers and subcontractors.
- Due diligence of potential supply chain

Established and maintained project tender procurement governance.
Due diligence, stakeholder relations, use of governance tools, robust tender assessment, and outcome reporting.
Visibility and clear engagement with other disciplines; seeking to drive programme efficiencies
To ensure that digital tools are utilised for maximum benefit
Use of balanced scorecards, reviews, tender validation, historic KPI’s etc.
A strong communicator, able to convey our requirements and ambitions to the supply chain through strong positive behaviours.

- Experience of procurement and supply chain management
- Hosting meetings with supply chain
- Construction/rail industry experience
- Working knowledge of Main Contract T& Cs including NEC
- Confidence to negotiate competitively and effectively.
- Competent in the use of 0365 software
