We are currently recruiting a Product Owner to join a leading Geospatial/ Geomatics Consultancy in the UK. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to work within the expeditious Geospatial industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and Maintenance of Product Roadmap
- Agile Product Owner – Responsible for maximising the value of our development team and managing the product backlog.
- HR Management of development team and sub-contracted developers.
- Development of product documents describing IT architecture, availability, penetration testing, recovery, scalability, SLA uptime guarantees, etc.
- Updating of product license agreements and terms and conditions.
- Supporting the attainment of ISO27001 certification for the product
- Testing of product and enabling feedback/ bug creation through Gitlab or similar.
- Technical sales, on-boarding and continuing support.
- Building client relationships (leveraging off strong existing relationships)
- Project Management
- Development of technical sales and Marketing material (with support from Marketing department)
- Development of demo materials
- Establishment of customer support function
- Any other duties as required by the business.
Requirements
- Degree/Masters qualified.
- 5+ years’ experience in management of projects and delivering a client focused service. Business, Computer Science, or GIS fields preferred.

- Knowledge of geospatial data
- Knowledge of GIS systems
- The right to work in the EU/UK.
- Basic coding understanding (python, Javascript)
